The Collective Banking Group, Inc. is hosting its 14th Anniversary Fundraising Awards Gala on Dec. 11, and honoring 12 businesses and noteworthy people for dedicating their time and services to aiding the Prince George’s County (MD) community. The ceremony will include a performance by musical guests Elder James Flowers and The Flowers Family, and guest speaker Dr. Barry C. Black Chaplain, United States Senate. The list of honorees consist of County Executive, Jack Johnson who will be honored with the President’s Award; Rev. Conrad Pridgen who will get the Pastor Award, Bishop Harry Jackson for the Community Award, and New Revival for the Church Award. HAZMED will win the Business Award; Home-Free will win the CDC Award, The Vine Newspaper, the Consumer Empowerment Award and Industrial Bank, the Covenant Bank Award. Marlo Furniture will be given the Strategic Partner Award; State Delegate Gerron Levi, the Public Servant Award; Rev. Robert Porter, the Legacy Award, and Dr. Perry Smith the Founders Award. The Collective Banking Group is a consortium of ministries who leverage their collective influence and strength for economic and other empowerment in the communities which they serve.
